Time to Break-Free

This week we have been examining what is possible and our propensity to apply our limitations to the world as a whole.

Today, let’s talk about changing it all around.

How do you break free of  limitation-based thinking?

Here are the steps I recommend you take:

1. Get a coach

  • It’s very difficult to break free of patterns that have been unconscious habits without an external pair of eyes who can call you on your ‘stuff’. For the majority of people, self-analysis simply leads to more self-paralysis.

2. Study NLP

  • NLP, or Neuro Linguistic Programming is a methodology of achievement that looks at how you think, the language you use and the patters that sit in your unconscious mind to create your results. Once you know what the pattern is, you can change it and get different results.

3. Commit to a daily study of personal development

  • You must counter-program your mind from the thousands of limitation-based intrusions that you receive daily. You must feed it with material that promotes abundance, health and success. (Pretty much the opposite to what all main stream media bombards you with)

4 – Have strong goals fuelled by an equally strong WHY

  • Your brain needs something to aim at. Without a target you will pander around and be at the mercy of someone that has a target and is in active pursuit of it. What do you want?

5 – Give up on being liked

  • As you move towards a more successful experience, you will likely face ‘feedback’ from well-meaning family and friends. That feedback is going to sound like they care about you, are worried about you and are unsure of who you are ‘becoming’. As you become more successful, you WILL change. And this will trigger fear in the people around you. Be ok with that and that they may not like who you are morphing into. Be honest, legal, honourable and ethical. Don’t go out of your way to hurt others…AND continue to follow your dreams. Their feedback is more about them than you.
