A Life Lived Intentionally

So, this week we’ve been talking about our decisions to accept responsibility for the results of our life, choosing to be at cause and handling the challenge of life.

Today we turn our attention to the word Intentionally.

This can be one of the most profound transformations for you.

What do you want to experience in life?

Are you being buffeted by the experiences coming your way?

It all comes back, full circle, to your intention.

With the right intention, you are able to magnify the emotions of love, support, control and faith.

And life is measured by the quality of the emotions you experience.

To truly live and experience life the way you want it to be, you must choose every day. You must choose how you want to feel, what you want your experience to be….despite what happens.

Now I’m not proposing you be a robot or that you will never feel a negative emotion. You will. You are human and this is the human experience. However…..You are much more powerful than you give yourself credit for.

You are much more powerful than you recognise.

You are able to change your focus in a split second.

And this is a choice you have to make intentionally every day.

You must intentionally:

  • Choose how you respond

  • Think where others just respond

  • Consider the alternatives and how your response aligns with your highest values

  • Compare how you are thinking of responding to the way you would want to respond

Most people will never do the thinking required to get to this level of intention.

And that is what it takes to live a life on your terms.

What do you think? Love to hear your insights. Comment below and let me know.
