Routine and Confidence
As we kick off another week, I asked myself, Chris, what is a tool that is very important in not only creating confidence, but maintaining it?
My answer?
Routine.
I think routine is highly undervalued.
Routine is what gets you through the slumps. Routine is what keeps you performing and doing the necessary steps when you don’t feel like it.
At a strange, metaphysical, ethereal point, the routine itself becomes your confidence anchor.
This is because we can always find things outside of ourselves that feel they are too difficult, too far outside our expertise and comfort zone.
What we can always fall back on is our own skills level, our own abilities to achieve results.
And routine is the cornerstone of achievement.
Do you have a well-established routine?
Cheers,
Chris
