There are 7 steps you can take right now to help you get closer to your goal.
Whatever that is.
Here they are:
1 – Clearly identify what your goal is.
The more accurate and precise you can be the better your mind and the universe will be able to work together to align the right opportunities in front of you.
2 – What does success look like?
Have a clear image in your mind of what success actually looks like. Vagueness and nice-to-have’s do not work here. Be clear about how you will know when you have achieved your goal. Ask yourself – “What is the last thing that needs to happen before I know my goal has been achieved?”
3 – See yourself in the picture
When most people form pictures of a goal, they tend to be looking through their own eyes. Chances are you did exactly that in step 2. So now, step out of the picture so you can see your body in the picture.
4 – Play the image in a loop
Now, start looping the picture over and over again so that it forms a movie. It could be one 2-3 seconds, but you want that loop to be replaying over and over.
5 – Lock the loop in place
You know the sound that Tupperware make when it seals in the goodness? Great. Lock the loop in place right now with that exact sound. You want that loop to be on auto-play.
6 – Energise the loop
Now this might sound a little strange but go on and do it anyway. Reach out and grab that picture and bring it into your heart, letting it integrate with who you are. Whatever emotions come up for you in this is totally ok. Let the picture become a part of you
7 – Take action
Take one piece of action toward this goal right now. No matter how small, just take one piece of action right now. It could be a phone, scheduling something in your diary, writing something down. Take action now.
There you have it.
These are the exact 7 steps I have been using and I teach my clients when we do goal setting. Go out and make your dreams and goals come true.
