The Conflict Resolutions Process – Step 2

This week, we’ve been discussion the impact of conflict on your ability to achieve a result.

In the last post, we discussed the first step you can take.

So you made a decision to resolve the conflict and although it feels better, the conflict is still there.

Here’s what you need to do.

Take a piece of paper and run a line down the middle. Title one side YES and the other side NO.

Now, write all the reasons why you should resolve the conflict on the YES and all the reasons you should not resolve the conflict on NO.

The theory behind this is that the conflict can only stay active if it is serving you in some way.

Once you bring awareness to the YES and NO of the conflict itself, it will generally lose its energy and you will know what to do.

It’s a simple and powerful technique that works with the unconscious minds’ need for closure.

On the next post, I’ll talk about goal setting and how you can move towards your goals in a congruent way.

Until then,

Keep being amazing

Chris

PS – I’m about to launch something exciting, so keep an eye out for an email soon.
