Most people are waiting for someone’s ‘ok’. Someone’s validation of their goal and their dream before they go for it.
Who is it for you?
Be honest.
Is it a parent, a sibling, a partner, a friend, a coach, a supporter?
Who are you waiting for?
Really, the only person you should be waiting for is you.
Consider this – even if they gave you their permission – you have to still do the work. Their permission doesn’t alter the work required.
In fact, 99% of the times it makes everything harder. Truly.
You might feel an immediate inspiration of acceptance and get work done. And at some point, doubt will bleed in again and you’ll need to go back to them for another hit. It’s just like a drug. The more you get the more you want.
The only person you want to be relying on is YOU.
